| New Heelys Swift style have removable wheels |
When our town built a skate park, I began to consider purchasing Heelys a little more, but still hesitated as I also figured they’d be heavier shoes, not practical for long-term wear. The thought of constantly transporting extra shoes was not appealing.
I couldn’t have been more wrong. Turns out Heelys have a super-light, everyday-wear athletic design. And, in fact, they’ve now launched the Swift line of ultra-light Heelys to help keep kids moving all day long!
With the Heelys versatile design, my children will be able to wear them to school and then readily skate on the playground or in the skate park lickety-split by inserting the easily portable wheels. Then pop them back out again to go home or off to additional activities.
After having the opportunity to inspect them, I’m impressed with the quality of materials, fluidity of design, colors and style, and overall construction.

I not only love the design, I’m really happy about the sport aspect of this shoe. Heelys encourage movement, balance, coordination, and did I mention… movement!? Too often I’m finding myself yipping at the boys to go out and play more so I’m all for any toy, especially a practical one, that inspires just that.

Without a doubt, I’m certainly going to have some happy kids on Christmas morning!
