Certainly, I've purchased craft supplies for my paper crafts and goodie bags for treats from craft stores, but now with the Cricut I have perfect control over what colors, patterns, shapes, words, and textures I wish to have, rather than settling for what's available at the time I'm shopping. (Wish I would have had this when we were planning my daughter's wedding!)

The versatile cutting tool system does all the hard work for you, easily cutting out complex shapes and tiny pieces. No more using small scissors or razor knives to carve out a tiny feature.
With the Cricut Mini, you have immediate access to over 500 free images and 40 project ideas. There are also free projects available for limited time periods, such as one for treat containers that was available just in time for the holidays!
(PS: If you want to expand your library of Cricut images, you can explore and purchase digital images from Cricut Craft Room with digital sets starting at $4.99.)
Once you pick out the project or image you want, you simply use the virtual cutting board to position and size the objects to your preferences.
After you set your preferences, the Cricut does the rest, quickly cutting out the shape(s) you chose.
This is the start of a "tool box" goodie box that I'm currently cutting to put some chocolate covered pecans in for "guy gifts" for our relatives.
Have you tried a Cricut yet? I'm relatively new to this tool and have barely scratched the surface of it's capabilities, but am certainly loving it!
