This week I needed some tags for a few baskets I'm putting together and rather than racing out to the store to grab some, or snipping away with my scissors, I simply directed the Cricut Mini to cut the shapes and sizes I needed to construct:

In a few minutes, the cuts were finished and I simply peeled them off the cutting mat, assembled, grabbed a silver Painters pen for embellishment and some glue.

A couple minutes later, I had four tags ready to go. After writing a personal message on the back, a hole punch and a slip of ribbon is all I need to attach them to the bags. (If I had thought to do so, I could have easily programmed the Cricut Mini to cut the ribbon hole for me... but as I said, still new to this clever gadget and learning the ropes!)

My next project will be to make personalized keepsake ornaments for my family. I have a super simple design in mind that will still have a nice "wow" factor. Stay tuned, I'll be sharing the results soon...
Have you tried a Cricut yet? What craft projects are you working on this holiday?
